The Village of BrietzigThe marker indicates the location of the house in which Juergen and I grew up. The train station, no longer there, was to the north. The road entering the village from the south-east was used both by Bishop Otto Von Bamberg ca. 1124, as well as the Russian soldiers when they occupied the village in 1945. (Double-click map to zoom in)Pyritz (now Pyrzyce) is situated to the west, and beyond, Stettin (Szczecin). Zoom out or scroll left to view. Click the Maps link in the menu to view other locations |
